Shows an artist's impression of Eddie Cheever's Ligier Gitanes JS19 Matra.
The race was won by Keke Rosberg in his # 6 Williams FW08 ahead of Alain Prost in his # 15 Renault RE30B and Niki Lauda in his # 8 McLaren MP4-1B.
Near mint condition but has been folded (original).
The Swiss Grand Prix was only held from 1950 - 1954 at the Bremgarten racetrack and following the huge desaster at Le Mans in June 1955, the authorities in Switzerland banned ALL racing on closed circuits!
The Swiss Grand Prix was revived for 1982 for which this is the official poster and it was held at the Dijon-Prenois racetrack in France.
Unfortunately, it would remain a one-time revival...
It measures some 23 x 16 inches or 60 x 37.5 cm.

All autographs were collected on October 2, 1988 in the paddock of the Jerez Race Track during the 1988 Spanish Grand Prix except for Martin Brundle's which was collected the next year at the same event (October 1, 1989).
This book with the autographs of 4 F1 World Champions (Senna, Piquet, Mansell & Prost) and 2 deceased drivers (Senna & Alboreto) represents a virtual time document of the hey days of F1 racing.
Rarely will you find the signatures of so many drivers from that era in one single book!

Vintage 1988 Color Slide of Ayrton Senna da Silva and Alain Prost McLaren MP4-4 Honda at the Grand Prix of Brasil.
This is a vintage & original color slide of the two arch rivals, Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna da Silva discussing the set-up of their McLarens during practise for the 1988 Grand Prix of Brazil at Jacarepagua race track.
Alain would go on to win th race ahead of Gerhard Berger on Ferrari and Nelson Piquet on Lotus ofHonda.
Ayrton was disqualified for changing cars (the gearbox of his race car broke when he pulled it into first gear) after the green flag for the parade lap was given.
Possession of this slide includes the copyright which means that you are free to reproduce it, also on a commercial basis!
