Here we have a historically VERY important Scuderia Ferrari item.

This is the original contract that Enzo Ferrari signed with Maurice Trintignant to become a Ferrari works driver in the 1954 season.

The contract is dated March 16, 1954 and covers the terms and conditions under which Trintignant will race.

To make this letter extra special, the back shows the prolongation for the 1955 season.

During these two years, Maurice Trintignant competed in 16 F1 Grand Prix for Scuderia Ferrari, raking up 1 win (Monaco 1955), 2 second places and 1 third place plus winning the 1954 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Enzo signed both the original contract on the front as well as the 1955 continuation on the back.

Comes complete with a contemporary portrait photo of Maurice Trintignant.

We can not express how rare such an item is and how important it is in the history of the Ferrari racing team.

In 1959 Ferrari enthusiast Howard Fuller, owner of the Fuller Brush Company issued a special catalog to honour up an coming man Phil Hill.

The catalog contains many photo's of Phil racing Ferraris, at the Ferrari factory, tinkering with his cars and during leisure time.

These catalogs are now very much collector's items and a relatively rare find in mint condition.

Here we have a totally mint examply that was mailed out to Mr. Eugene H. Baker of Landisville, PA, USA.

Mr. Baker had the catalog signed by Phil Hill shortly thereafter. Phil used a black ballpoint for the signature.

Truly a rare find with this vintage autograph !

The photo is dated February 1987 (a mere 1,5 years before his death in 1988) and would later become infamous as it is about the last photo of Enzo that was publicized by the factory and later adorn his obituary.

The photo was mailed to a gentleman in Germany on February 23, 1987 as a thank you for the best wishes that Enzo had received from him.

The photo comes complete with the original envelope but please note that we intentionally blacked-out the name & address in the digital scan to preserve the gentleman's privacy. This does NOT effect the actual envelope!

Enzo signed the photo himself in his characteristic violet ink.

A fantastic relic from the final period of Enzo's life!

It has been signed on the front in Enzo's famous violet ink.

The card carries a printed Cavallino in the left top corner.

It also carries the typed text "Grazie degli auguri, che ricambio e molti cordiali saluti, Dicembre 1986".

It comes complete with the envelope in which it was posted to the recipient in Germany.

Please note that we digitally blocked the address on the the high-resolution scan of the envelope out of privacy protection for the original addressee (ONLY on the image shown here, NOT on the actual envelope).

The typed text on the back refers to the kind greetings that Enzo received and sends his regards in return.

The card is in more than excellent condition and the signature is "slightly shaken & stirred" as Enzo was already an old man by then.

This is a true museum piece!

It is the oldest Enzo Ferrari signed item that we have ever seen and maybe even the oldest racing related item signed by Enzo outside what the Ferrari family / Ferrari company may have.

This is a vintage photograph of Enzo competing in the 1922 Targa Florio on Alfa Romeo ES.

Enzo would finish the race in 7 hours, 40 minutes and 58 seconds which resulted in a 16th spot overall.

Enzo autographed this photo in 1924 in the right bottom corner.

Of course the signature has faded considerably after more than 80 years.

This is truly unique item of which the rarity exceeds that of many of that cars that Enzo would build later in his life.

This is a great photo of Clay at the wheel of his 1976 Ferrari 312T2.

Clay personally signed this photo with a silver marker.

It measures some 7.5 x 5 inches or 19 x 13 cm.

Here we have a truely unique Didier Pironi item from his time as a factory F1 driver for Scuderia Ferrari.

This is a bill from the Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach, Califonia, where Didier resided in the days preceding the 1981 Long Beach Grand Prix.

The bill shows intriguing details of Didier's stay there such as his spendings in the restaurant etc. The bill spans March 8 - 11, 1981 and Didier settled it using his American Express credit card. He also signed it at the bottom in blue ballpoint.

According to this bill, Didier checked out on March 11, 12.42 P.M.

The Long Beach Grand Prix took place on March 15 so it is very well possible that Didier stayed in this hotel at his own expense and changed hotels when the race team arrived for the race.

About the race: Didier qualified the Ferrari 126 CK in 11th position, managed to set 8th fastest lap during the race but had to abandon in lap 67 (out of the total 80) with fuel system problems while in 7th place. His team mate, Gilles Villeneuve, already abondoned in lap 17 with a broken halfshaft.

Didier Pironi was born on March 26, 1952 in France and became a Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver in 1981. He crashed heavily during practice for the 1982 German Grand Prix, badly injuring both his legs of which he never regained full use. Didier was killed during a powerboat accident off the Isle of Wight on August 23, 1987.

Here we have a great and AUTHENTIC piece of Ferrari team clothing!

It is a pair of trousers, made by Fila, for the Ferrari F1 crew members for the 2004 season.

It is a US size 10 (German size 40).

This particulair pair has been signed by Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello and their boss, Jean Todt.

Please note that these trousers only carry the Fila logo (yes, that is the authentic way!).

This is a vintage 1953 photo of Argentinian racing driver Onofre Marimon (1923 - 1954) most probably at the Buenos Aires "Autodromo 17 de Octubre" (after the fall of Juan Peron renamed to Autodromo Oscar Afredo Galvez) posing with a Ferrari 375 (Froilan Gonzales his car?).

The front carries a handwritten note which we have decyphered as follows: "Onofre Marimon - Daniel Pericoli y Fernandez - Coche Ferrari - Autodromo Febrero 1e 1953".

The rear reads: Febrero 1e de 1953 - Onofre Marimon - Coche Ferrari con que participo. En xxxxx de Daniel Pericoli y Fernandez".

Marimon was a protégée of Froilan Gonzalez and Gonzales participated with a Ferrari in the Formula Libre championships that were run in South America in 1951, 1952 & 1953 and we believe that it is this car that is shown in this picture.

A great period photo of the man who would die a mere year later at the Nurburgring.
